Universal Orlando plans to build a 4,000-room mega-hotel as part of its new Universal’s Volcano Bay water park. Universal Orlando will already have 6,200 on-site rooms once its new Aventura hotel opens in summer 2018.

Wyndham Hotel Group will manage the 242-key Wyndham Grand Ambergris Caye, the first resort in Belize to fly the Wyndham Grand flag. The five-star oceanfront resort is scheduled to open in December 2018.

The Board of Directors of Half Moon, a luxury resort in Montego Bay, Jamaica, have announced that the property is set to undergo an extensive renovation beginning in May.

Meliá Hotels International will open the new Palau de Congressos de Palma (Convention Center) and its adjoining hotel, Meliá Palma Bay, on April 1st.

With roughly 75,000 hotel rooms in Midtown Manhattan, visitors have a vast list of centrally located accommodations to choose from. This summer, several new properties are expected to join the portfolio.

Sandals Resorts’ second property in Barbados, Sandals Royal Barbados, is now available to book for stays starting Dec. 20, 2017.
