The 112-room Courtyard Nassau Downtown/Junkanoo Beach opened July 1 on West Bay Street in downtown Nassau near the cruise port and Cable Beach.
The Dominican Republic currently leads the Caribbean hotel construction pipeline, according to a new STR pipeline report.
This new hotel is the latest addition to the DoubleTree by Hilton brand portfolio, which already has more than 460 DoubleTree by Hilton hotels in 38 countries.
The project equates to an estimated $45 million investment and will create nearly 520 new jobs throughout the construction and opening phases.
The property will now be known as Four Seasons Resort and Private Residences Anguilla, and will join its long-standing hotel in Nevis, which it has managed for 25 years.
The former Hotel Quinta Avenida Habana in the Cuban capital -fully owned by Gaviota in the past- is now a U.S. property reflagged as Four Points by Sheraton La Habana.
