ITB Berlin and IPK International present an analysis of the dynamic developments and outbound travel volume of the BRIC countries in a five-year comparison – Among the BRIC countries outbound trips have grown at different rates: Russia leads, followed by China, while Brazil and India lag far behind.

A new source of information for international visitors: with ITB Berlin News, Messe Berlin is launching the first English-language magazine especially for trade visitors and journalists from abroad in 2013. This magazine will provide readers with an overview of information and news items on a daily basis, as well as a review of planned events.

As the Convention & Culture Partner of ITB Berlin 2013, Azerbaijan will be providing a link between Asia and Europe with a varied program. This country is attending the world’s largest travel trade show to introduce its natural attractions and its rich culture, as well as promoting itself as vacation destination with the emphasis on culture.

Satisfied buyers and contracts with a value in individual cases of as much as five million euros marked the successful start of the ITB Buyers’ Circle.

The 46th ITB Berlin, which ends on March 11, is a more political event than ever before: the European debt crisis, turmoil in the Arab countries, climate protection and sustainability, as well as EU emissions trading. All these topics will be discussed at the ITB Convention by leading figures from the travel industry.

At ITB Berlin 2012 socialtours and its sustainable partners will get together to present the latest innovations in responsible travel.
