Cuba cracked the four-million-tourist plateau Saturday for a third year in a row, the island nation’s Tourism Minister Manuel Marrero Cruz said during a gathering with travel agents and tour operators in Milan, Italy.

This means that Belize continues to be a popular vacation destination in Central America among those seeking exceptional adventure and relaxation.

“Signs of a comeback began in early January but were inconsistent, with ups and downs through April, but then in May, something started to happen,” said Popper. 

The destination is on target to set a new visitation record in 2018, with overall visitation increasing seven percent to 2.7 million, up from 2.45 million in 2017.
