Travelocity Brings TravelTools App to IPod, IPhone

Travelocity is on a Safari: the Mac-based Web browser, that is. Earlier this year it brought http://iphone.travelocity.com/ via Safari to iPhone and iPod touch users.

And last month it unveiled TravelTools, a native application for the iPhone and iPod with a location-based Hotels Near Me feature. Users get a list of hotels in the vicinity plus links to hotel descriptions, maps and booking options.

The TravelTools application is available for free download at Apple’s App Store on iPhone and iPod touch.
