Trondent Unveils Fare-Analysis Tool for Groups

Trondent Development Corp. has launched GroupFare Analyzer, a Web-based tool enabling meetings planners to produce fare-analysis reports.
Users begin by inserting origin and destination markets, date ranges and the number of travelers departing from each city. Each query may contain a maximum of 50 origins and five destinations.
Based on this set of criteria, GroupFare Analyzer robotically collects fare data from a GDS. Within minutes, a fare report is produced in either a PDF or XLS file format that identifies the most cost-effective destinations to host a meeting, Trondent said.
GroupFare Analyzer is only available to Sabre subscribers currently, but Trondent intends to eventually make the tool compatible with Abacus, Amadeus, Apollo, Galileo and Worldspan.
Trondent is a supplier of data-management software and services for travel management companies, online booking providers, meetings-management companies and corporations.
