Amadeus Acquires IT Company for Railroads

Amadeus acquired Onerail, which provides a suite of IT solutions to the rail industry, including the Orient Express. The acquisition allows Amadeus to further offer core, next generation technology solutions to help rail companies become more integrated with rail travel.

This includes code share and interline agreements, which enables trains to play a greater role in an integrated transport network by bringing passengers from secondary towns to major “hub” airports.
