Amadeus has launched a hotel commission tracker for travel agencies in France. The company has signed up 60 brands and more than 20,000 hotels to participate in Amadeus Worldwide Commission Manager (WCM).

Participating brands include Sol Melia and all the brands within Accor. Amadeus said the rollout schedule of WCM in other regions of the world runs parallel with the number of participating hotels. The tool has no technological set-up costs, maintenance or fees.

“We are now focused on enrolling hotel providers in various Amadeus markets worldwide, including the U.S.,” Amadeus said. “Once we reach a significant amount of participating hotel providers, those markets will be rolling out the solution for travel agencies to use.”

WCM offers travel agents a Web-based, single point of information on hotel bookings and the status of commission payments, Amadeus said, adding that the tool tracks the progress of payments resulting from fulfilled, active hotel reservations regardless of the commission payment system used by each hotel.
