Caribbean Marketplace Attendance Up From Last Year; Conference Returns to Jamaica in 2014

As part of our ongoing coverage of the annual Caribbean Marketplace, Travel Agent attended a press conference hosted by the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association (CHTA) and learned that next year's event will be held in Montego Bay, Jamaica.

This will be the third time Jamaica has hosted the event.

"We are very excited to be hosting Caribbean Marketplace once again," says Wykeham McNeill, Jamaica's minister of tourism.  "It gives us a great chance to show off all the new products for those who come to see us."

As far as this year's conference goes, 707 delegates and 273 companies were represented. Also, 20 different countries were represented at the show, which are two more countries than last year.
