Caribbean Society of Hotel Association Executives Elects 2010-2011 Leadership, Presents Newsletter Awards

Members of the Caribbean Society of Hotel Association Executives (CSHAE) elected its leadership and Board of Directors to guide the region’s association executives during the coming year and presented its annual Newsworthy newsletter awards to two associations.
Re-elected to a second year term as President was Frank Comito, Executive Vice President for the Bahamas Hotel Association. Clarissa Jimenez, President and CEO for the Puerto Rico Hotel & Tourism Association, was elected as Vice President. Also re-elected as Treasurer was Marion Wilson, Executive Director for the Bonaire Hotel & Tourism Association.
Other members elected to the Board of Directors include Sue Springer, Executive Vice President, Barbados Hotel & Tourism Association; Caesar Campbell, CEO, Turks & Caicos Hotel & Tourism Association; Neil Forrester, General Manager, Antigua Hotels & Tourist Association; Pancy Cross, Executive Director, Grenada Hotel & Tourism Association; Lisa Hamilton, President, U.S. Virgin Islands Hotel & Tourism Association, and Steven Damiana, Curacao Hospitality & Tourism Association
CSHAE also honored the St. Maarten Hotel and Trade Association and St. Lucia Hotel and Tourist Association with the Electronic Newsletter Newsworthy Award and Printed Newsletter Newsworthy Award, respectively.
The Caribbean Society of Hotel Association Executives (CSHAE) is a professional association whose members include the top executives and senior managers from the region’s private-sector led hotel and tourism-related organizations. It’s primary focus is to serve as a network for the region’s associations by supporting the professional development of the staff and voluntary leadership; facilitating the gathering and flow of information; advancing programs in support of regional advocacy and product improvement efforts; and working collaboratively with the Caribbean Hotel & Tourism Association (CHTA) in achieving mutual goals.
