Carlson Hotels, Amadeus Implement Open Standards-Based Direct Connect

Amadeus and Carlson Hotels have implemented a direct connect for an enhanced booking process. The implementation has been done for Carlson’s five hotel brands. The deal will result in addition of more than 1,000 properties added to Amadeus’ system.

The connection, based on the OpenTravel Alliance’s XML standards, uses the most advanced, open technology. The new connection will enable Amadeus and Carlson to implement new features and enhancements quickly.
