The Caribbean Hotel Association (CHA) has just praised Costa Rican executive Victor Lopez for his contribution to the efficient marketing of Caribbean tourism. The prestigious Hispanic Corporate Responsibility Association also awarded Mr. Lopez for its hands-on attitude as one of the most influential Hispanic personalities in America’s hotel realm.

The Caribbean Hotel Association Charity Trusteeship (CHACT), in charge of running the regional marketing program, also extolled Mr. Lopez’s tenure as vice president of Hyatt Hotels & Resorts and underscored his position as the highest ranking official in that U.S. chain that operates 414 establishments all over the world. Mr. Lopez oversees hotel operations for the megabuck company’s 28 lodging facilities in Florida, Hawaii, the Caribbean and the District of Columbia (Washington).

“Victor’s achievements go a long way back,” says CHA director-general Alec Sanguinetti who went on to point out the Caribbean must be thankful of counting on the advise of Mr. Lopez, a veteran of thirty years in the hotel industry.
