CLIA Improves Travel Agent Section on Website

The Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) introduced an improved website designed to help travel agents and consumers navigate with ease. The site’s “Agency/Agent” and “Vacation/Consumer” sections have been redesigned, with a revamped “Regulatory” section to follow.
“It is no secret that travel agents and consumers increasingly turn to the Internet and websites for quick access to information,” said Jim Smith, CLIA’s director of marketing. “We are pleased to introduce our redesigned website that is the direct result of listening to what our members requested. With further enhancements to come, the new website will ensure that CLIA member agencies as well as vacationers seeking information about cruising have a well-designed, efficient and enjoyable resource.”
The new CLIA site features greater visual appeal, reorganized and newly displayed content, and enhanced navigation capabilities. The new look includes a redesigned gateway page, and in the Vacations section, a reformatted Travel Agency Finder including a Cruise Expert Locator, which identifies CLIA agents and their respective certification level by ZIP code. “Agents will also benefit from enriched content and the sheer ease of use,” said Smith.
