CTO to Launch Social Network for Agents

The Caribbean Tourism Organization in January will launch online programs aimed at improving its North American chapter system and the way that travel agents do business.

Agents from the U.S., Canada and the Caribbean will be able to post their profiles, photographs and areas of specialization on a new social networking community, which will be hosted on CTO’s consumer website.

CTO also will establish a media library and resource center where agents can access and send videos, brochures and package deals to their clients.

“These initiatives demonstrate the importance that CTO places on technology to ensure a more productive chapter system to keep our travel agent community abreast of developments in the region,” said Sylma Brown-Bramble, CTO’s acting director of marketing for the Americas.
