Flybe Installs 64 Selfserv Kiosks, Plans Mobile Phone Check-in

European low-cost regional airline Flybe has completed the installation of 64 new self service electronic check-in kiosks at regional airports across the UK.

The new SelfServ kiosks, installed at 13 UK airports at which Flybe is based –and including the Channel Island bases of Jersey and Guernsey- were installed by ARINC Inc.

The airline is focusing on driving passengers to the most cost effective check-in channels. According to the airline, initial indications have exceeded expectations with over 40 percent of Flybe’s customers already using electronic check-in solutions.
