GORP.com, an online resource for outdoor travel and recreation throughout the world, has enhanced its website. The site now includes fresh trip-planning tools, enriched weekend guides, new destination photo galleries and improved navigation.

Among the key new GORP.com enhancements is the Trail Finder, in which hikers can now add their first-hand insights to this searchable index of hiking trails in the U.S. and Canada.

They can submit new trails or add details from their own experience, including photos, to existing trail descriptions. The site also has enriched weekender guides for destinations across the United States, including Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin islands, as well as new destination photo galleries.
