Gramado Welcomes Travel Professionals in an Atmosphere of Business, Debates

The 23rd Gramado Travel Festival kicked off this Thursday with the delivery of prizes to the Festival’s Friends, awarded by its directors –Eduardo Zorzanello, Marta Rossi and Marcus Vinicius– as the first activity of the event.

Penciled in as the most effective business fair for Brazilian and South American travel professional, Gramado Travel Festival puts together a significant share of this sector in the South of Brazil.

During two days, this city, ranked in the list of Brazil’s top travel destinations, will welcome professionals from over 30 countries in a stage that has prepared for business and debates. The business fair covers an area of 17,000 square meters and gathers more than 300 exhibitors and 2,000 companies at the Serra Park, one of the most up-to-date event centers in Brazil.

“Gramado Travel Festival has grown a lot during these 23 years and has gone beyond borders, consolidating its position among the most effective business fairs for Brazilian professionals,” commented the national secretary of Tourism Policies from the Ministry of Tourism, Bel Mesquita.

To be carried out in the mornings of Friday and Saturday, the festival congress anticipates what will be the market trend and debates the directions of travel activity.

Gramado, located at Rio Grande del Sur State and characterized by European elements that surprise foreign visitors, is considered a model of tourism planning in the country. Counting on a complete hotel and gastronomic infrastructure, it’s visited by thousands of national and foreign tourists who are amazed by unexpected landscapes and cultural traditions that are different from the better known face of Brazil.
