Interval International, Member Resorts Donate $20,000 to CTO Foundation

Interval International, a prominent worldwide provider of vacation services and an operating business of Interval Leisure Group, and participating member resorts announced their continued financial support of the Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO) Education Foundation.
James Fleming, Interval's region manager of resort sales and service for the Caribbean and Florida, presented foundation executives with a $20,000 donation during this week's CTO State of the Industry Conference held at the Madiana Convention Centre in Martinique." Interval and its Caribbean resort partners have a long-standing history of supporting the CTO Foundation.
The generosity of our member resorts will have a meaningful impact on the lives and careers of scholarship recipients who are on their way to becoming the future tourism leaders in the region," said Neil Kolton, Interval's director of resort sales and service for the Caribbean and Florida.
"The shared ownership industry plays an important role in the education of Caribbean nationals and we cannot thank Interval and its resort clients enough for their contributions," said Jacqueline Johnson, chairman of the CTO Foundation. "Without their commitment, we would not be able to support the development of a well-trained work force that is critical to the growth of the tourism industry."
The CTO Foundation was created in 1997 as a not-for-profit corporation exclusively for charitable and educational purposes, with its first scholarships and study grants conferred in 1998. To date, the foundation has provided more than 200 scholarships and study grants amounting to more than US$760,000 to deserving Caribbean nationals.
