Jimmy Vaccaro appointed to a key post in Atlantis Paradise Island

Jimmy Vaccaro, one of the gaming industry´s best-known linesmakers, has been named senior director of race and sports book operations at Atlantis, Paradise Island. He will be responsible for operating the new Pegasus Race & Sports Book at the Atlantis casino, which recently opened at the destination resort.

"Jimmy Vaccaro brings a long career of experience from the best known hotels and casinos in the world, which we expect will go far towards maintaining Atlantis´ leadership as the most exciting leisure and gaming destination in the Caribbean."

Named "The most influential linesmaker in the last 25 years" by the Las Vegas Review Journal, Vaccaro, originally from Trafford, PA, moved to Las Vegas in 1975.

Coming out of retirement to join Atlantis, he packs a distinguished record. His experience in Las Vegas includes developing sports books and designing and implementing casino operations at the legendary Treasure Island Hotel & Casino, the Mirage Hotel & Casino, and the Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino under Steve Wynn.
