New York Welcomed over 130 Travel Writers, 40 Exhibitors during CTO Caribbean Week 2012 Media Marketplace

Last week, the Big Apple was the epicenter for more than 130 travel writers and 40 exhibitors during the Caribbean Tourism Organization's (CTO) Caribbean Week 2012 Media Marketplace held at the New York Marriott Marquis on Thursday, June 7.

The annual event, held during Caribbean Week in New York, attracts a wide range of travel media from television, radio and print from across North America, Canada and the Caribbean.

The event allows CTO member governments and private sector exhibitors to mix and mingle with journalists from the trade and consumer press while highlighting their product.
Media Marketplace serves as an excellent occasion for interviews with both print and online media vying for what's new and different throughout the Caribbean.

Caribbean Week in New York 2012 was sponsored by: Anguilla, the Islands of the Bahamas, Barbados, Brides Magazine, Caribbean Airlines, Cayman Islands, Cititech Solutions, David Williams Funeral Home, Delta Vacations, Empire State Building, Global Bridal Weddings, LaSource Resort Grenada, Jamaica, The New York Times, Tobago House of Assembly, Trinidad & Tobago, Turks & Caicos Islands, The Wall Street Journal, World Travel Market/World Travel Market Latin America.

The Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO), with the headquarters in Barbados and marketing operations in New York and London, is the Caribbean's tourism development agency and comprises membership of over 30 governments and a myriad of private sector entities.
