Summoned Caribbean Conference on Sustainable Tourism

Tourism industry's officials called today for the 14th Annual Caribbean Conference on Sustainable Tourism scheduled for Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, in April.
The theme of this meeting will be Keeping the Right Balance: Enhancing Destination Sustainability through Products, Partnerships and Profitability.

Scheduled from April 15 to 18, it aims to examine key sustainability measures to boost the sector in the region, destination competitiveness based on the current global scheme and assessment functions regarding critical aspects.

Delegates of the Caribbean Tourism Organization added that agenda also includes experiences beyond stereotypical urban and rural tourism products, and learn how to design and implement sustainable tourism policies and programs.
