United Slashes Bermuda Flights from Newark

United Airlines will cut its daily service between Newark and Bermuda to three flights a week from Sept. 8 to Nov. 17, due to lack of demand. The carrier suspended its service to Bermuda last winter from Dec. 3 to April 2.

United will suspend all service from Newark to Bermuda during the winter season, although the winter schedule is still subject to further talks with the airline, according to a statement from the Bermuda Tourism Authority.
