Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. said it will open an office in New Zealand to cater to an increasing number of cruisers from New Zealand. The office is due to open April 1.

Vail Resorts reported a 33 percent drop in second-quarter profit due to a slow start to the Colorado ski season, fewer real estate transactions and lower lodging revenue. Net income for the three months ended Jan. 31 fell to $40.7million, from $60.5 million a year earlier. Revenue was down 23 percent, from $388.8 million to $300.5 million.
While experts are indicating that the number of empty shops on Britain’s high streets has risen - the percentage currently stands at 12.4 percent, up from 10 percent in the middle of 2009, Thomson and First Choice have outlined plans to open approximately 30 new shops over the next two years.
