Variety Cruises, the small-ship cruise company, is announcing its new relationship with Carlson Wagonlit Travel (CWT) Vacations. Variety Cruises will provide CWT with cruise options from seven different programs for 2009 and 2010, as well as affinity groups and private charters.
Vacation.com entered into a “multiyear commitment” with host agency Travel Planners International that it said would “focus on creating a closer alignment between the two companies by enhancing membership and driving profitability.”
Frontier Airlines Holdings, Inc. reported a net profit of $2.4 million and its sixth consecutive monthly operating profit. The results were filed in the company’s unaudited monthly operating report for April 2009.
In a surprise move, Vacation.com, a leading travel services marketing organization, has entered into a multi-year commitment with Travel Planners International (TPI). The deal focuses on creating a closer alignment between the two companies by enhancing membership and driving profitability.
The Air France KLM Group and Delta Air Lines announced a new long-term joint venture whereby the partners will jointly operate their trans-Atlantic business by coordinating operations and sharing revenues and costs of their trans-Atlantic route network.
Despite the financial challenges that face parent company Ambassadors International, Windstar Cruises is “probably in a better position right now than we’ve been in a year,” said Windstar President Diane Moore.
