A delegation from the Caribbean Tourism Organization made a visit to Haiti on Thursday. The delegation, which was led by Caribbean Tourism Organization Secretary General Hugh Riley also included Faye Gill, director of customer service for member countries.

The April 15, 2014 deadline is fast approaching for persons keen on pursuing tourism studies at the college and tertiary level to submit applications for Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO) Foundation scholarships in 2014.

The World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) and the Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to strengthen their collaboration in promoting the tourism sector in the region as a key driver of sustainable development.

The Caribbean will again display its collective holiday attributes to New Yorkers and visitors to the “Big Apple”, reminding them why the Region is a most desirable warm weather destination, as the Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO) returns for Caribbean Week.

Individuals, groups, organizations and companies in any of the CTO's member countries are invited to submit entries for a number of award categories including the Caribbean Excellence in Sustainable Tourism Award; Destination Stewardship Award; Sustainable Accommodation Award; Community Benefit Award; Heritage Protection Award; and the Biodiversity Conservation Award.
