The 2008 Nevis International Culinary Heritage Exposition (NICHE), taking place Oct. 17 to 19, celebrates top chefs from Nevis and throughout the Caribbean while exploring the traditions and culture of Nevis. The Nevis Tourism Authority will host this culinary exposition.
The International Institute for Peace through Tourism (IIPT) will officially launch a series of “World Peace Tours”, at The Trade Show in Orlando, Florida, September 7 thru 9. This will be the first time that IIPT will have a booth at this major travel industry show, a direct result of the recent partnership agreement signed between the American Society of Travel Agents (ASTA) and IIPT.

New Orleans’ Eight Annual Satchmo SummerFest, the American jazz festival dedicated to the life, music and legacy of New Orleans’ native son Louis “Satchmo” Armstrong, takes place July 31 to Aug. 3, 2008, at the Louisiana State Museum’s Old U.S. Mint and is a free public festival.
