The 2008 New York Times Travel Show will hold a special trade program in collaboration with the National Association of Commissioned Travel Agents (NACTA) for this year’s show from February 29 to March 2.
Over 150 attendees from over 25 countries convened at the sold-out 2008 European Hospitality Technology Educational Conference (EHTEC) to address technology issues and network with exhibitors and colleagues. EHTEC, a service of Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP), was held at the Hilton Amsterdam Hotel in Amsterdam, The Netherlands from February 10 to 12.

Antigua and Barbuda will burst onto the entertainment scene with its inaugural Romantic Rhythms Music Festival from 12-15 June this year. Two concerts are planned, one at the iconic Sir Vivian Richards Stadium and the other at Fort James, a renowned scenic spot overlooking the ocean.
The Jamaica Tourist Board (JTB) will host the first annual Tourism Outlook Seminar on Feb. 20 at the Hilton Hotel in Kingston. The seminar’s goal is to collaborate with local and international stakeholders within the tourism industry to discuss issues that are critical to Jamaica’s development and devise strategies to move the industry forward.
On Thursday, February 21 Vincent Vanderpool-Wallace, Secretary General of the Caribbean Tourism Organization will present his vision of Grand Bahama “Ten Years From Now” at the 10th Annual Grand Bahama Business Outlook to be held at the Westin Our Lucaya, Freeport. Although Vanderpool-Wallace has spoken at many Outlooks in Nassau this will be his first time addressing Business Outlook in Grand Bahama.
