Organizers of IMEX report increased participation from all sectors of the industry and from across the world, at this year’s Frankfurt show, April 22 to 24. Together with a rise in the number of hosted buyer groups and a forecast increase in the number of key German decision makers attending, IMEX organizers are predicting the busiest and largest IMEX to date.

Former Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan will serve as keynote speaker for the first Caribbean Tourism Summit, to be held in Washington from June 21 to 25. The event is being organized by the Caribbean Tourism Development Co. (CTDC), the marketing and business unit owned jointly by the Caribbean Hotel Association and the Caribbean Tourism Organization. It will focus on the roles of marketing and investment in Caribbean tourism as well as on other industries, including agriculture, construction and aviation.
