The 29th edition of Mexico’s Tourism Marketplace will take place from April 18 to 21 at the Acapulco Conference Center.
The event gathers international purchasers from over 20 countries that could huddle with Mexican service providers.
The marketplace’s objective is the promotion and marketing of products, as well as the knowledge of Mexico’s attractions as a travel destination.
The Confederation of Latin American Tourism Organizations (COTAL is the acronym in Spanish) will also make the most of the upcoming International Tourism Marketplace in Berlin. COTAL President Enzo Furnari will present a paper Saturday entitled Growth Chances for Latin America within the framework of the fair’s South American Forum.
The opening edition of the Central American Travel Market Fair, scheduled from October 4 to 5, will take place in Guatemala, informed Alejandro Sinibaldi, president of the country’s National Tourism Institute (INGUAT) and chairman of the Central American Tourism Council (CTC) during the first six-month term.
The Belizean Tourism Board is making plans and preparations for the Belize Exposition, Tradeshow and Expedition (BETEX) –scheduled from September 14 to 18, this year- in order to give travel agents, tour operators and tourist wholesalers a chance to take a closer look at the travel potentials this Caribbean nation has to offer.
Sponsored by the nation’s Tourism Department, Mexico City (Federal District) will host the first Mexican Caribbean Tourist Caravan with a primary view to bring national tourists to that region where the country’s premier beach destinations are located.
The tourist caravan (it’ll come to an end Saturday) counts on the participation of representatives from some thirty travel companies from the state of Quintana Roo who will gather with roughly 500 travel agents from Queretaro, Toluca, Pachuca, Puebla and Cuernavaca.
