Margaritaville is expanding in the Caribbean, thanks to a new partnership with Karisma Hotels and Resorts, the company announced.

Sandals made the announcement during the Caribbean Travel Marketplace conference in Nassau this week.

Offering 60 guest rooms and 32 two-, three-, and four-bedroom villas, Chileno Bay Resorts & Residences is well-suited for couples, groups, and families.

The long-delayed Baha Mar resort in the Bahamas is expected to welcome its first guests on April 21, when the 1,800-room Grand Hyatt Baha Mar is due to open its first 200 rooms.

Iberostar Hotels & Resorts is continuing with its ambitious expansion plan by opening another hotel in North Africa this April.

The properties will represent a number of Hilton brands, including Hilton Hotels & Resorts, Curio – A Collection by Hilton, Hilton Garden Inn, Hampton by Hilton and Homewood Suites by Hilton.
