Gran Meliá Don Pepe, Marbella’s emblematic hotel, is launching the world’s first suite partnership with Moët & Chandon. The luxury French champagne brand has exclusively designed a suite for the hotel’s VIP guests.

The new hotel of the Palma de Mallorca-based company is set to open doors in summertime 2016 and it will meet the highest luxury and exclusiveness standards of the Luxury Bahia Principe Baby Beach Don Pablo Collection brand.

Seeking to make Grenada “a world-class tourism destination,” Governor General Cecile La Grenade said her government would “continue to offer incentives to investors (local and foreign) who are interested in hotel and resort development, especially at five-star or higher quality.”

Punta Loros will require a $400 million investment and will consist of three hotels, 34 multifamily residential buildings, an 18-hole golf course, and plenty of luxury amenities to deliver a lifestyle reminiscent of upscale resorts in the Mediterranean and the Caribbean.

Hilton Worldwide put a name and a more defined opening date to its new boutique brand Wednesday, announcing Canopy by Hilton as its 12th brand at a meeting of owners and development representatives in Orlando.
