“Unfortunately, some EU policymakers have suggested suspending VWP [Visa Waiver Program] reciprocity altogether because not all EU nations have qualified to enter this program,” said U.S. Travel Association CEO Roger Dow at the group’s annual IPW show in New Orleans.

IPW is in full swing this week with 6,000 delegates from around the world taking part in the IPW trade show, media conferences, special events and parties, all in vibrant New Orleans.

Four travel journalists captured top honors in the U.S. Travel Association and Brand USA’s 2016 IPW Travel Writer Awards competition, sponsored by CityPASS. The winners were announced yesterday during a media reception at the IPW trade show in New Orleans, Louisiana.

 

Brand USA rolled out a series of new initiatives at IPW 2016, which is taking place through June 22 in New Orleans. The event is expected to welcome international delegates from 70 countries.
