IPW, the travel industry’s premier international marketplace, comes to New Orleans June 18-22. IPW is the largest generator of travel to the U.S.

The city of New Orleans in the U.S. state of Louisiana, is revving up preparations as the 2016 edition of IPW is nearing. U.S. Travel's IPW 2016 will be held June 18, to June 22.

The new host cities are Chicago, which will host IPW for the fourth time in 2021; Orlando, which will host IPW for a record eighth time in 2022; San Antonio, TX, which will host IPW for the first time in 2023; and Los Angeles, which will host IPW for the sixth time in 2024.

U.S. Commerce Secretary Penny Pritzker says the U.S. is on the path to welcome 100 million international visitors annually by 2021 because of efforts such as expanding the visa waiver program and decreasing visa wait times. She attended IPW 2015 in Orlando.

Orlando’s chief tourism agency says it is launching a new marketing campaign centered on collecting the memories from tourists. The Orlando Sentinel reports Visit Orlando announced the global effort Sunday at the U.S. Travel Association IPW convention.

Writers, tour operators, airline representatives and other tourism boosters descended upon Orlando this weekend for the start of the U.S. Travel Association's 2015 IPW conference, the industry's premier international travel confab.
