
The final preparations for the 48th edition of ITB Berlin, set to be held from March 5 to 7, 2014 are under way.

Next year, on the eve of ITB Berlin and featuring high-ranking participants, the ITB Berlin Convention will kick off with an event on the topical subject of omni-channel marketing. Among those taking part in the new ITB Summit on 4 March 2014 from 2 to 6 p.m. will be Facebook’s Head of Travel Lee McCabe, who will talk about the prospects for social media securing new customers.

Travel and event managers have to take decisions with the future in mind. That applies to their everyday business but also to the success factors for achieving added value. Very shortly, they will be gathering again at ITB Business Travel Days in Berlin.

ITB Berlin presents a preliminary list of topics and speakers at the travel industry’s leading think tank – major topics in 2014 include luxury tourism and new technologies - extended program from 5 to 8 March 2014 - admission is free for visitors to ITB Berlin.

ITB Berlin is moving with the times and in future will be putting an even greater focus on the increasingly important Travel Technology segment. Next year, the show will provide space in Hall 5.1 for companies from this market for the first time.

In 2014 the world’s largest travel trade show will again provide senior buyers with access to an exclusive circle that offers numerous benefits – applications can be submitted from 1 November – at ITB Berlin 2013 the International Buyers Circle concluded purchase deals worth 1.5 billion euros.
