KLM’s new TripShake App offers iPhone and Android users a fun way to explore the many possibilities for a next trip. By just shaking the phone, a KLM destination will pop up, along with a ticket price.

Travelport has announced a new agreement with Hilton Worldwide that includes the distribution of full availability, rates, rules and property information from Hilton Worldwide and its global brands, representing 3,750 properties and 615,000 rooms in 85 countries.

CruiseOne and Cruises Inc. will launch a new airline booking site for its franchisees and independent travel agents. The new site, called Select Air, will be operated in partnership with ISS Global Marine Travel, a company that handles many flights for cruise line crews and passengers using negotiated contracts with the airlines.

On October 6, 2011 the Costa Rica Tourism Board will host an exclusive virtual press conference to officially launch its new North American advertising campaign.

The Jamaica Tourist Board (JTB) reported revenue growth resulting from its partnership with online travel company Expedia. JTB revenues through the Expedia Affiliate Network (EAN) grew by 8 percent in the second quarter of 2011 while average daily rates climbed 12 percent.
