Carnival Cruise Lines and Razorfish announced the launch of a new Facebook application that allows users to view, compare, select and share Carnival cruises with their friends. The application allows users to engage their social network in their vacation planning through personalized newsfeed updates and invite friends to book the same trip.
Sabre Travel Network has upgraded its collaboration portal, which combines access to business and leisure travel, meetings and expense management and social networking tools in one site. Putting travel, meetings, expense and social networking solutions in one place makes it easier for employees to be highly productive -- and as collaborative as possible with each other, Sabre said in a press release describing the improvements.

Peru Tourism and Export Promotion Board relaunched the Peru Travel Agent Specialist Program website with the aid of Destination Ventures, an industry training company. The site is the online portal for Peru’s specialist certification program as well as a resource for travel agents selling Peru.
