The Los Cabos Tourism Trust is witnessing a steady rapidity in tourism recovery of the destination. In the month of June, there was a 24 percent boost in the influx of domestic and international tourists to the San Jose del Cabo airport compared to the equivalent period in 2019.

The airport witnessed more than 300,000 new visitors who took pleasure in the wide range of activities and magnificent accommodation options that the destination has to offer.

The positive streak in visitor arrivals during the first half of the year is due to an outstanding increase of 21.7 percent in domestic tourist arrivals and 25.2 percent in passengers from international flights. These figures show an estimated increase of 18,300 and 40,000, respectively, compared to the same period in 2019. Considering travelers coming in from the United States, a growth of 22 percent was witnessed, coming from Los Angeles, Dallas, and Phoenix.
