Nevis Gets Set for Reopening with New Health Protocols
In an effort to get ready for reopening to international travelers, the Nevis Ministries of Health and Tourism and the Tourism Authority recently completed Covid-19 safety protocol training sessions for taxi operators, attractions, hotels, stores, tour companies, vendors, watersports operators and beach bars.
According to Travel Weekly, a St. Kitts and Nevis Travel Approved Seal was awarded to those that completed the training to validate that the establishment is a travel-approved operation.
Jardin Yarde, CEO of the Nevis Tourism Authority, said that the mandatory training in the health and safety protocols "is a very important step in our reopening process."
"It sends a clear message that we care deeply about our visitors and residents," Yarde said, adding that "when the island is ready to accept travelers, they will have the assurance that every effort has been made to protect their health and they can enjoy their experiences in Nevis with confidence."
No timeline has been announced for the reopening of St. Kitts and Nevis.
