Panama City to Host Expo Turismo Internacional, Sept. 22 to 23

Panama City, Panama, will host Expo Turismo Internacional at the ATLAPA Convention Center, Sept. 22 and 23, 2011. The event will provide travel agencies, wholesalers and tour operators from the region with opportunities to network with hundreds of destinations, airlines, cruise lines, hotel chains, tour operators and media from the United States, Europe and Asia.

"Participants will have [opportunities] to evaluate Panama's tourist attractions as well as the incentives offered for the international visitors" said Salomon Shamah, Panama’s minister of tourism.

Expo Turismo Internacional is organized by Panama’s Chamber of Tourism (CAMTUR), and the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture of Panama (CCIAP), and is supported by the Tourism Authority of Panama.
