
The Caribbean Tourism Development Company has developed a new program for this year’s Caribbean Week in New York, June 8 to 12. The event, entitled the Caribbean Meeting and Incentive Travel Showcase, will be hosted in association with Black Meetings and Tourism magazine to target the meeting, incentive, conference and exposition markets by sharing the experiences available for these specialized groups within the region. The showcase will take place on Friday, June 12, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the New Yorker Hotel.

In her new position, Ms. Hay will lead the CTO’s enhanced thrust in Europe, including designing, implementing and managing the organization’s strategic marketing and public relations programs for all European markets. She will work in coordination with CTO’s head office in Barbados and the European Chapters.

The Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO) has announced the postponement of its annual Caribbean Conference on Sustainable Tourism Development, otherwise referred to as the Sustainable Tourism Conference (STC).

The Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO) has appointed Gail Henry as Sustainable Tourism Product Specialist effective today. She replaces Mareba Scott who left the organization at the end of her contract last November.

Caribbean Week will return to New York City from June 8 to 12 following a one-year hiatus. Organized by the Caribbean Tourism Development Company (CTDC), Caribbean Week in New York brings together policy makers, marketing professionals and tourism industry officials to interact and discuss both tourism and investment opportunities in the region.
