Visit Florida, the official tourism marketing corporation for the state of Florida, has launched America’s first state trails-tourism website offering comprehensive information about more than 100 of the Sunshine State’s trails and greenways. Found at trails.VisitFlorida.com, this special micro-site assists visitors worldwide with planning and booking their outdoor adventures by providing detailed descriptions of Florida’s trails by city, activities, trail length or surface, as well as links to the individual trail websites and interactive maps showing the exact plot of a given trail so users can see nearby outfitters, hotels, campgrounds and restaurants.

Viator.com, the website that holds more than 5,500 trip activities and experiences at the best prices, has expanded its travel offering to include deeper destination and attraction information, an open platform for submitting traveler recommendations and tips, and more ways to personalize the trip planning experience through new member profiles.

OneTravel has announced the OneTravel Blog, which officially launched Aug. 12. Readers can find valuable travel information, news, planning tips and fun things to do while on vacation. Key features include immediate searching and booking for flights, hotels and cars, city spotlight daily specials, news and feature articles, and an option to receive blog posts via email or RSS feed.

Holland America Line will offer special promotions and an online Caribbean sales kit to support CLIA’s fifth annual World’s Largest Cruise Night on Oct. 13.

The Niche Cruise Marketing Alliance has upgraded its website at www.nichecruise.com  to make it more user-friendly to both consumers and travel agents. Among the new features are downloadable profiles and videos of the eight member lines and a feature that will provide up-to-date listings of media coverage of the member lines. In addition, the website allows consumers to locate a travel agent specializing in niche cruises.

TripAdvisor has introduced a beta version of Traveler Lists & Tours across all its TripAdvisor Mobile products. The new feature is now available on its apps for Nokia, iPhone, and Android smartphones, and the TripAdvisor mobile website, which is accessible on all major mobile phones.
